An opportunity to come and have an informal chat about what you’ve been reading with other readers facilitated by Collections Librarian Shannon Cooper. Hear what books have been trending on various platforms including TikTok, BookTok and about New Zealand bestsellers as well as ideas to set up and run a book group. Bring $5 in aid of a good cause- the Friends of Hamilton Public Library who fund the petrol costs for volunteers who deliver library resources to homebound borrowers- and some books to swap with others. Refreshments will be served.This event is in partnership with Hamilton City Libraries.
