4 AUGUST 11:00-12:00 NOON
EVENTS ROOM ONE
BILL GALLAGHER CENTRE
WINTEC CITY CAMPUS
At Ramp Qiane will be talking about how her practice disrupts the mainstream to amplify Indigenous women, Māori, Pasifika and marginalised people and communities, and their leadership in the world.
As this session is on during semester time there won't be parking available on campus. We suggest parking in Collingwood and Ward Streets or using parking buildings like KMart and Warehouse. This event is in partnership with Wintec's RAMP Festival.
Qiane Matata-Sipu and her team are impact-driven, creative, multi-media storytellers grounded in indigenous values. They are all about disrupting the mainstream approach to amplify the good stuff organisations are doing in the world.
Qiane has worked across media, photography, communications and strategy, from magazine features, to storytelling and strategic consultancy for businesses and organisations.
She’s also the founder and creator of NUKU, a multi-media movement amplifying indigenous female change makers and leaders. She does it all with an honest documentary and storytelling style to her craft.
