TRUST WAIKATO

4 LITTLE LONDON LANE

Creating Compelling Character Journeys

Kyle will lead you in an intensive workshop which will unravel her personal process for writing picture books that spellbind kids and parents alike. It will cover key aspects such as creating hooks, boosting re-readability and weaving themes which resonate with young readers. She’ll look at the fundamentals of all aspects plus ways to boost each element. There will be plenty of time for writing exercises and discussion, allowing you to work on your own characters and make sure they’re popping off the page when you write their stories.

The workshop costs $25 and includes afternoon tea. Registration required.

The Trust Waikato Building is on Little London Lane, off London Street, Hamilton. The Trust has a sizable carpark and there's lots of parking outside and close by.
