Come and hear Raymond McGrath and Graci Kim discuss their books suitable for year 5 and 6 students. 

This event is part of the Storylines National Story Tour in partnership with Hamilton City Libraries and supported by Hamilton Book Month.

Author

Raymond is an award-winning, 25-year veteran of the film, television, advertising and children’s publishing industries. Being closely involved in the business of producing and funding animation (both in NZ and internationally through co-productions), as well as book publishing, he has developed, directed, and overseen large scale series. However, his focus remains storytelling. Working from the kernel of a concept, through to script and then finished production, in whichever medium is best suited to his particular narrative, has been Raymond's passion since he began his professional creative journey.

Graci Kim is the award-winning and New York Times bestselling author of The Last Fallen Star, The Last Fallen Moon, and The Last Fallen Realm. As featured in TIME Magazine for Kids, and dubbed a “sparkling yarn” by Entertainment Weekly, the Korean mythology-inspired trilogy has been optioned by the Disney Channel for a television series, and is being translated into multiple languages.
